fabrics
We attach great importance to transparency, which is why we are introducing you to our fabric manufacturers here, from whom we receive the certified, high-quality fabrics. If you want to know more, please take a look at the manufacturers' websites. There you will also see the certificates that convince us, but we are not allowed to list them because we are not certified ourselves.
Carlo Bassetti
We also work with the organic cotton line from Carlo Bassetti in Italy. The company has decided to offer consumers a sustainable product. Compared to conventional cotton, organic cotton is more water-efficient and is more gentle on the soil when grown. The people involved are not affected either. with chemical fertilizers or pesticides in
touch and are paid fairly.
Carlo Bassetti not only uses a renewable raw material, but also operates the weaving machines using 100% renewable energy and even produces additional electricity.
Pulse of Fashion
...supplies us with the jersey fabric for our dress made of organic cotton, certified of course. Pulse of Fashion produces all fabrics in Greece.
Strict environmental and
Social standards are adhered to and this is fully certified.
Cotonea
Elmer & Zweifel/Cotonea is a traditional company from Germany and convinced us with a transparent, seamless production and supply chain.
This is where we source our dyed poplin fabrics. The company is committed to pure organic cotton without harmful chemicals. The organic cotton is grown in areas with sufficient rainfall, without genetically modified
modified seeds, without artificial fertilizers, without pesticides. The organic farmers get
a fair price for their commitment to sustainable production for the sake of our environment. This appreciation for the environment, people and products is visible in all areas of the company and is certified with the IVN seal.
Riopele
We source some of our lyocell fabrics from Portugal. Riopele is committed to eliminating all hazardous chemical substances from their supply chain. They rely on renewable energy and plan to become a CO² neutral company by 2027. In addition to energy,
Water is also a very important issue in fabric production. They reduce their water consumption, reuse 52% of it and treat the water before it is returned to the water cycle.
Philea became MG2 Creation
We source the rest of our Lyocell fabrics from France. These are manufactured in an environmentally friendly way using a completely European network, from yarn procurement to the finishing process.
The fibers are supplied by ENKA . The raw materials come from certified and sustainable forestry and were selected as "Responsible Fiber" by Fairtrade. The fabrics are woven by Getzner, which is certified with the bluesign and Made in Green by OEKO-TEX. The company focuses on energy saving and heat recovery. They were even awarded the climate-active prize by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection for this project.
SEIDRA
Our certified
We source organic linen from Austria. Seidra ensures that its raw materials have a verifiable origin and a transparent supply chain. The company is certified according to strict ecological and social criteria and produces regionally, sustainably, environmentally consciously and free of harmful substances.
Seidra says the following about herself: “Because the careful handling of nature and its preservation for future generations is important to us.”
Fabric House
We implemented another approach to sustainability with deadstock fabrics from Fabric House in Italy. They bring clothing fabrics back into the cycle that would otherwise be destroyed.
Every year, more than 110 tons of fabric are returned to the fashion industry. The fabrics come from overproduction and stocks of high-quality brands, mostly of Italian origin.
All suppliers adhere to international chemical restrictions and the ethical international code of conduct. The fabrics are certified with the CIRCULAR FABRIC STANDARD and enable resources, emissions and waste to be reduced with minimal energy consumption.
Marzotto
Our high-quality wool and wool-mix fabrics are made by Marzotto in Italy. The fabrics are manufactured using high-quality, ethnic and sustainable production methods. Marzotto is very concerned with having as little impact on the environment as possible by reducing water consumption, using renewable energy sources and keeping the use of chemicals to a minimum. They select the best raw materials in the world and only work with suppliers who protect the environment and the basic freedoms of animals.
For this reason, all Marzotto fabrics comply with the strictest international regulations; all processes are ethical, from the raw materials to the final product, and every single operation in the supply chain is strictly controlled, traceable and certified. The wool in our wool fabrics comes from controlled organic livestock farming and is mulesing-free.
We have examined and analyzed our company in detail and calculated our CO2 emissions.
For each product, we show you in detail and transparently where our materials come from, how they are made, where our clothing is produced and how much CO² is produced per item of clothing.
