Sylva - Great Platform of the Middle East

Sylva took part in our campaign, comes from Amsterdam and is, among other things, a founder. She tells us herself what exactly she does:

"Hello, my name is Sylva van Rosse and I am one of the co-founders of the Great Middle East Platform (' het Grote midden kosten platform '). I advise and connect the European with the Arab world and vice versa."

Not only does that sound really exciting, it's also a really interesting, varied and challenging job. More information is available directly on the homepage, partly in Dutch and partly in English.

In order to always look great at work, Sylva wears different outfits depending on what is going on. Sometimes casual chic, sometimes a classic pants suit. For her, one day rarely looks the same as the next.

"I attach great importance to sustainability when it comes to clothing. That's why I buy little, but carefully selected items."

With this attitude, Sylva is in the right place for us. We think it's great that she buys what she likes and what she can combine well. Our red trousers look really good on Sylva, especially in combination with her own favorite pieces. Her patterned blouse and striped top were also part of the shoot and look really chic.

Normally, Sylva is rather camera shy and doesn't like being the center of attention. But that's exactly what we wanted, real women who aren't always in front of the camera. We were all the more pleased that Suzanne Visser was able to photograph her.

"I don't like having my photo taken and had to get out of my comfort zone. But the photographer Suzanne did a great job. We all felt very comfortable."

As a founder, Sylva also knows that it can be a difficult, rocky road at the beginning. By taking part in the shoot, she wants to support young and sustainable labels. Thank you very much, Sylva!
