Ellen - HR Manager

Hello, my name is Ellen Kostermanns. I am 51 years old and live in Amsterdam with my husband John and my son Olivier. I was born in Amstelveen and moved to Amsterdam as soon as I could after finishing school and studied there. I love this city. For me, Amsterdam is like a big village. You can get anywhere quickly by bike. It is green and has lots of water. Wonderful! Unfortunately, the city is getting more and more crowded, so that as a local you no longer feel very comfortable. I think that is a real shame.

I work as an HR manager for the University of Amsterdam. Of course, like most Amsterdammers, I cycle to work. I like wearing skirts and dresses because they make me feel well dressed. Add a red lipstick and my outfit is complete.

I was very surprised that I liked the red pants from Nina Rein so much. The material is great and the color is fantastic. I now wear the pants in private and people often ask me about them.

In my free time I really enjoy playing tennis. I play in a small but nice club around the corner from me. It's a very nice location and I just love it here.

During the Corona period, I also started running again. Sitting all the time was really getting to me. I now run three times a week with a friend and I feel really fit again.

I had a lot of fun doing the photo shoot with Suzanne. I was totally in my element and climbed up and down the banister. I have lots of lovely photos of myself. Thanks to Nina Rein, Stephanie and Suzanne.
