Our visit to the Munich Fabric Start
One of our highlights every season is the Munich Fabric Start! We were once again busy at the trade fair to experience the latest trends and fabrics for the coming season. Our intern Lara was there this time. She has recently started supporting our team at NINA REIN.
The Munich Fabric Start is one of the largest and most important fabric fairs in the world. Exhibitors come from all over the world to present their company's latest developments and innovations. In recent years, the topic of sustainability has become particularly important there. It is therefore the ideal place to be inspired by the latest trends and to find out more about sustainability in fashion.
Many newly developed fabric compositions, patterns and accessories were exhibited and each time some exhibitors surprise with innovative ideas.
For Lara, the trade fair visit was something very special:
"As I am new to the team, the visit there was the perfect introduction to the topic of sustainable fashion. There was a huge selection in several halls at the trade fair and the visit there left many interesting impressions. Both the trend colors of the season and new fabrics and prints were presented.
There were many interesting exhibitors, especially on the topic of sustainability, who opened up new possibilities in fashion. The exchange with the fabric producers was also interesting; they explained a lot of background information about fabric and production and were able to bring sustainability closer to you. A really impressive visit and I'm already really looking forward to the next exhibition."
And we are really looking forward to Lara sharing all her newly acquired knowledge about sustainable fabrics with our customers via social media!
